Dhaka -A mobile court sent ten people to jail handing them a four-day imprisonment for possessing Indian Phensidyl syrup in Akhaura upazila in Brahmanbaria on Wednesday.Those who were jailed are Sunny, 25, Zahirul Islam, 28, Rakib Hasan, 24, Munna Khandaker, 24, Asif Karim, 24, Nirjan Ahmed, 25, Sayedul Islam, 28, Arnab Ahmed, 26, Fazle Rabbi, 25 and Sagar Islam 18,UNB News Agency Reported.A patrol team of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) arrested the ten young men from Azampur bordering area in Akhaura upazila and recovered ten bottles of Phensidyl from their possession in the afternoon, said Commanding officer of BGB-12 Battalion Shah Ali.
Later they were produced before a mobile court led by executive magistrate Moin Uddin which gave them four days’ jail.
