Police in an overnight drive arrested 39 people, including 10 Jamaat-Shibir activists, from different areas of the district.
Police conducted the drive from Saturday evening till Sunday 9.00am and arrested them on charges of subversive acts.Sheikh Emdad Hossain, officer-in-charge of the Special Branch of Satkhira district police, confirmed the arrests. -UNB, Satkhira
