A play “Sangrila” is being made on the occasion of upcoming Eid festival. Five popular TV actors – Zahid Hasan, Shahiduzzaman Selim, Azizul Hakim, Tawquir Ahmed and Mahfuz Ahmed are performing in this play. Joya Ahsan, Tarin, Aporna, Shanu and Prashun Azad are also performing in this play against them. Main initiator of this play is popular TV actor and director Zahid Hasan.The 10 performers left Dhaka for Nepal yesterday afternoon. Another producer of this play Ansarul Alam Linkon are also included in the shooting unit.
It may be mentioned that shooting of this play began after starting their journey in plane. Script of the play was written by Tawquir Ahmed, it is being directed by actor and director Shahiduzzaman Selim.
Zahid Hasan, Tarin and Prashun Azad took part in shooting of yesterday’s part inside the plane.
While sharing his feelings about the play its project director and also performer Zahid Hasan told this correspondent, “Basically I am the main initiator of this play. We are trying to give something new to the viewers. After airing this play we can realise the response from them (viewers). If we success, then we will again proceed for next work.”
Director and actor of this play Shahiduzzaman Selim said, “I can’t express my feelings what is my expression about this play now. I believe that it will be my best work in life. I am grateful to the unit.”
Mahfuz Ahmed is in-charge of marketing of this play. Basically five popular actors are producers in this play.
While sharing her feelings Joya Ahsan said, “I have attached with a good initiative. I am enjoying.”
Tarin shared her feelings by this way, “The five popular actors who are performing in this play are senior to me. It is really an unforgettable moment for me to perform against them at a time in same play. I am grateful to all.”
While talking with Mahfuz Ahmed, he told this correspondent that Aupee Karim was also included to perform in this play. Due to her family problem she couldn’t joint with them.
This play will go on air on SA TV in six episodes during upcoming Eid festival. After shooting the full unit will return to Dhaka on July 1, Mahfuz said before leaving Dhaka.
