Ten persons were injured in a clash between two groups of villagers at Birgaon village under Roypura upazila of the district this afternoon.The clash originated between the two groups of villagers to establish supremacy in the area. The clash started at about 12.00 noon and continued till 4.00pm. During the clash 15 houses were ransacked. After the clash injured persons took treatment and fled away from the area. Receiving information police from Narsingdi and Raypura Thana rushed to the spot and control the situation after opening 24 rounds of blank fire. Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Raypura Thana Kazi Mizanur Rahman confirmed the incident and said additional police were deployed there to check further clash.
