Farmers of Panchagarh district cultivated mustard on 16,039 hectares of land this year with the production target of 18,055 tons of mustard.District Agriculture Extension (DAE) office sources said five varieties of mustard seeds like BARI-9,BINA-5,BINA-8,BARI-15, BARI-14 were distributed among the farmers.Deputy Director of Panchagarh DAE Md. Asraf Ali told BSS that if the weather remain favourable the farmers will get bumper production of mustard.He said, BARI-14 and BARI-15 varieties of mustard were a short duration variety.-BSS, Panchagarh
