Mymensingh, May 6 – A workshop held on ‘KGF BKGET-funded project’ at Syed Nazrul Islam Bhavan of Bangladesh Agricultural University (BAU) in Mymensingh on Sunday.Three projects were inaugurated in the workshop on increasing livestock production, improving animal food quality and introducing disease resistant indigenous sheep funded by Krishi Gobeshona Foundation (KGF).
BAU Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Md Ali Akbar inaugurated the workshop while director of BAU Research System (BAURES) director Prof Dr M A M Yahia Khondoker presided over the program.
BAU Pro-VC Prof Dr Jasimuddin Khan, KGF program director (Fisheries and Livestock) Dr Kazi M Kamaruddin, Environment and ILLM specialist of DLS Dr Khan Shahidul Hoque attended the program as a special guest.
Chief researcher Prof Dr Mohammad Mohi Uddin discussed on the project. Teachers, students, farmers and businessman participated in the program. – BAU Correspondent
