18 ‘Rohingyas’ detained with Bangladeshi passports in Ctg

Chattogram, Sept 19 (UNB) – Police’s Detective Branch (DB) detained 18 suspected Rohingyas with Bangladeshi passports from in front of the Indian Assistant High Commission in the port city on Wednesday night.

Mirza Sayem Mahmud, additional deputy commissioner of Chittagong Metropolitan Police, said DB conducted a drive after learning that a number of people had gathered in front of the Indian Assistant High Commission in Khulshi.

Seventeen Bangladeshi passports were seized from them.
