Chittagong District Police arrested 184 people including 4 leaders and activists of Jamaat-e-Islami and its student wing Islami Chhatra Shibir (ICS), conducting special drives at different upazilas of the district on Tuesday night.The law enforcers also recovered one Single Barrel Gun, 2 cartridges, 2,000 pieces of contraband Yaba tablets and 108 litres liquor during the night-long drives.
Mohammad Naimul Hasan, Additional Superintendent of Police (Special Branch) of Chittagong district police said that several teams of police conducted the drives in different upazilas of the district on Tuesday night and rounded up 184 people.
