Dhaka – Flame Boys Club clinched the Metropolis First Division Men’s Handball League title beating Star Sports by 33-9 goals in the last league match at the Shaheed (Captain) M Mansur Ali National Handball Stadium here on Thursday.
The winners led the first half by 11-4 goals.Parvez Mosharraf of the champions team was adjudged the best player of the league.
Vice-President of Bangladesh Handball Federation Golam Habib was the chief guest at the day’s closing ceremony and later he distributed the trophies.
In the day’s other match, Purbachal Parishad beat Jurain Janata Club 14-12 goals after trailing the first session by 6-7 goals.UNB
