Dhaka – Combined Sporting Club earned a facile 4-1 victory over Bachelors Sporting Club in the Green Delta Insurance First Division Hockey League at the Maulana Bhashani National Stadium here on Tuesday.
Javed Hossain scored twice, and Ashrafuzzaman and Shibu Das contributed one each for the winners while Harvir Singh netted the consolation goal for the losers.
In the day’s other match, Shihu Kishore Sangha beat Bornak Samaj by the same margin at the same venue.
Abdullah Sheikh struck two, Shah Barat Sarkar and Shahnoor Rahman scored one goal each for Shishu Kishore while Rakibul Islam scored the lone goal for Bornak Samaj.
