Police rescued two schoolgirls from Barokheri village in Ramgati upazila on Tuesday morning, two days after their abduction from Alampur village in Sonagazi upazila of Feni district.
Police said a group of miscreants picked up Qamrun Nahar Bristi and Marium on Sunday evening and took them to Laxmipur.Abu Taher, father of Bristi, filed a general diary with Sonagazi Police Station after they were found missing.Later, on secret information, police of Barokheri camp and Sonagazi thana, jointly conducted a drive in the area and rescued the girls in the morning.Sub-inspector Abdus Salam of Barokheri police camp, said the rescued girls were handed over to Sonagazi Police Station.UNB, Laxmipur
