2 Ansar members caught allegedly while trading yaba pills

Dhaka, Mat 19 – Two temporary members of Ansar, a government force, were caught red-handed in Yaba trading, as a drive of the Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) on Sunday morning busted the office of SA Paribahan transport line.
The two Ansar members—Morshed and Kashem are temporary members of Ansar. They work for Ansar for the six months of the year and the rest of the year they enjoy forced leave.
Lieutenant Colonel Emranul Hassan, commanding officer of RAB -3 said that those two are involved in yaba trading in the guise of their official work throughout the year at a press briefing in Uttar SA Paribahan
office.
Kashem and Morshed on Tuesday sent a parcel containing the yaba tablet from a SA Paribahan office in Chattagram. That parcel arrived in Dhaka on Saturday and to receive the parcel, both Kashem and Morshed flew to Dhaka from Chattagram in an airplane, said the RAB official.
Later they were caught red-handed by the RAB upon their arrival in Dhaka as RAB earlier got a tip-off about the parcel. Rab recovered one lakh piece of the consignment of contraband tablets.
Emranul Hassan said that SA Paribahan is also responsible for this large number of Yaba shipment. This matter is also subject to misguided and negligence of their duty, said Emranul Hassan
The Authority should ensure that the goods which are parceled in SA Paribahan. Every courier service should scan their goods because of ensuring if there are any drugs or explosives. However, the matter of negligence of SA Paribahan has been clearly seen in this incident, said the RAB officials.
The RAB official also added that for initial investigation they wanted the CCTV footage of the incident day to SA Paribahan authority. They will interrogate the arrestees for further investigation. – Staff Reporter
