A court here on Tuesday placed two suspected members of radical Islamist outfit Ansarullah Bangla Team on a five-day remand in a case filed under the Anti-terrorism Act.
Metropolitan Magistrate Khurshid Alam passed the order after sub-inspector of Detective Branch of Police Shafiqul Islam produced them before the court seeking a 10-day remand for each. Dhaka, UNB News Agency Reported.
Those remanded are Syed M Mujahidul Islam and Ariful Islam. Earlier, police arrested the duo from Kamrangirchar of the city on Monday night.
Later, a case was filed against the arrestees with Kamrangirchar Police Station under the Anti-terrorism Act.
