Dhaka -Two people were beaten to death allegedly by their neighbour at Angapara in Roangchhari upazila in Bandarban on Tuesday night.The deceased were identified as Uikola,35, a resident of Angapara in Roangchhari upazila, and Apromong,25, a resident of Lama upazila.Locals said Uikola and Apromong attacked the house of Thoailching Mong, a neighbour of Uikola, at the village at about 10.00pm over previous enmity,UNB news agency reporter.
At one stage, Thoailching Mong beat up the duo mercilessly with a stick, leaving them dead on the spot.Thoailching Mong went into hiding after the incident.Deputy commissioner Dilip Kumar Banik and superintendent of police Sanjib Kumar Ray visited the spot. The deputy commissioner allocated Tk25,000 for each of the families of the two deceased.
