Police here on Friday afternoon recovered two bombs and huge quantity of explosive substances from beside the Poranpur-Loknathpur road in Damurhuda upazila.
Ahsan Habib, officer-in-charge of Damurhuda Police Station, said being tipped off, a team of police conducted a drive in the area and recovered two bombs, some gunpowder and other bomb making elements from a bush in the around 12:0pm.Miscreants might have placed the items there to carry out subversive activities in the area, he added.However, no one was arrested in this connection. -UNB, Chuadanga
