AL leader among deceased Bullet-hit bodies of two middle-aged men, including a local Awami League (AL) leader, were found in Bagh Binchupur area of Pangsha upazila early Monday.
The deceased, identified as Feroz Kamal, 55, son of late Nurul Mandal, and M Mohabbat Hossain Dulal, 52, son of Maksed Khandakar, hailed from Khoksha upazila of Kushtia district.Dulal was also joint secretary of Khoksha upazila unit of AL.Quoting locals, police said a group of terrorists kidnapped Feroz and Dulal from Someshpur Bazar of Khoksha while they were retuning home on Sunday night. Later, locals spotted their bodies beside a brick kiln of one Ashraful on the Rajbari-Kushtia Highway around 5:45am and informed police.Later, law enforces recovered the bodies and sent those to hospital morgue for autopsy.Sub-inspector M Zahid of Pangsha Police Station said miscreants shot the men to death elsewhere and dumped the bodies there. -UNB, Rajbari
