Dhaka- Members of Border Guard Bangladesh in a drive arrested two people along with 16 bottles of Phensidyl syrup from Putkhali bordering area in Sharsha upazila on Thursday.
The arrestees were identified as Hasan, 18, son of Malek, and Hridoy Hossain, son of Mashiar Rahman,UNB news agency reported.Tipped off, a BGB team conducted a drive in the area around 5 pm and arrested them along with the contraband item, said company commander of Putkhali BGB-21 camp Naib Subedar Abdul Jalil.A case was filed with Benapole Port Police Station in this connection.
