Two people were killed and another was injured as a truck rammed into a rickshaw van at Bagachara on the Naogaon-Rajshahi Highway in Mohavebpur upazila on Wednesday morning.The deceased were identified as Ramzan Ali, 20, son of Ataur Rahman, and Samiran Chandra,50, son of Jatis Chandra, both residents of Faradpur village in Sadar upazila of the district.Nauhatta police camp in-charge sub-inspector Abdul Hakim said a speeding truck rammed into a rickshaw van carrying the duo while they were going to the district town with palm for selling at about 9:30 am, leaving Ramzan and Samiran dead on the spot and the van driver injured.The injured was admitted to Mohadevpur Upazila Health Complex.Informed, police recovered the bodies and handed over those to the family members without autopsy.A case was filed in this connection.- UNB, Naogaon
