Two people were killed when a thunderbolt struck on them at Hizuli village in Dhunat upazila on Wednesday.The deceased were identified as Fazar Ali, 42, son of Nadu Kha and Hafizur Rahman, 45, son of Makbul Hossain of the upazila.
Fazar Ali and Hafizur got injured after being struck by a thunderbolt when they were closing their shops during rain, said Dr Gazi Mohammad Salahuddin, medical officer of Dhunat upazila Health Complex.
They died before being taken to the upazila health complex, he said, reports UNB from Bogura.
