Two riders of a motorcycle were killed and another was injured as
their vehicle rammed into a tree on the Gopalganj-Tekerhat road in
Sadar upazila of the district on Monday.
The deceased identified as Suruj Chukder and Khokan Sikder hail from
Madaripur district.
Police said motorcycle of Suruj along with Khokan and Abul Kashem ran
into a roadside tree after losing control in Ulpur area in the morning
while they were heading towards Shariatpur from the district town,
leaving the two dead on the spot and Khokan critically injured.
The injured was admitted to the sadar hospital. -UNB, Gopalganj
