Two people, including a minor girl, were killed in two separate road accidents on Magura-Jessore road in Sadar upazila on Sunday afternoon.The deceased were identified as Hazera Khatun, 8, daughter of Daud Mollah, resident of Norshinghati village in Sadar upazila, and Rashida Begum, 30.Officer-in-charge of Sadar Police Station Munsi Asaduzzaman said a bus hit Hazera and her father Daud Mollah on Magura-Jessore road while they were going to their home at Katakhali, leaving Hazera dead at the spot and her father injured.Daud was whisked off to Sadar Hospital and later shifted to Faridpur Medical College Hospital.In another incident, a Jessore-bound bus hit Abdur Rahim and his relative Rasida as they were riding a motorcycle in Jagla Chara Bottola area, leaving the woman dead on the spot and Rahim injured.
Later, the injured were rushed to Sadar Hospital.The bodies were sent to the morgue for autopsy and two separate cases were filed with Sadar Police Station in connection with the incidents. -UNB, Magura
