Dhaka – Two people were killed and two others injured in a collision between a bus and a tank lorry on Hatikumrul-Bonpara highway in Khalkuna area of Tarash upazila early
Tuesday.The deceased were identified as Rafiqul, 35, helper of the tank lorry and son of Abu Samad, a resident of Jamalpur village of Shajahanpur upazila in Bogra district, and Tajimul, 50, hailing from Adai village of Chapainawabganj Sadar upazila,UNB News Agency Reported.Abdul Kader Zilani, officer-in-charge of Hati Kumrul Highway Police Station, said the accident took place in the area around 6am when the Rajshahi-bound bus collided head-on with the gas-laden tank lorry,leaving the duo dead on the spot.On information police recovered the bodies.The injured were admitted at Sirajganj General Hospital.A case was filed in this connection.
