Dhaka – Two motorcyclists were killed when a bus hit a motorbike on Dhaka-Aricha highway at Manora in Sadar upazila on Wednesday.The deceased were identified as Abdul Quader, 30 of Dhulla village and Abdul Gafur, 28, of Janna village in Saturia upazila.
Rakibuzzaman, officer-in-charge of Sadar Police Station, said the accident took place in the area around 7 am when a Dhaka-bound ‘Hanif Paribahan’ bus smashed the motorcycle carrying two people, leaving them dead on the spot.
On information, police recovered the bodies and sent those to Sadar hospital morgue.
Police seized the bus but could not arrest anyone as the driver managed to flee the scene.UNB
