Two dish line workers died from electrocution in Taltali area of the district town on
Saturday.
The victims were identified as Khokon, 26, son of Azahar Ali of Paka Masjid area of
the town, and Alamgir, 28, son of Basu of Anandapur village of Shahrasti upazila of the
district.
Witnesses said Khokon and Alamgir came in contact with a live electric wire while
giving dish line connection in a house in front of LGED office of the area around 1pm
that left both injured.
The critically injured men were admitted to Chandpur Government General Hospital
where doctors declared them dead. -UNB, Chandpur
