Members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) in a drive arrested 21 people including eight women and three children while going to India illegally through Putkhali border here on Friday night.Tipped off, a team of BGB-23 conducted a raid in the area and arrested them while crossing the border illegally in a bid to go to India in the night, said Subedar Samsur Rahman, in-charge of Putkhali camp of BGB.The arrestees include 10 men, eight women and three children. All of them hail from different parts of Barisal, Pirojpur and Noakhali districts.Later they were handed over to Benapole Port Police Station. A case was filed. -UNB, Benapole
