21st round of BPL Football begins Wednesday

Dhaka – The 21st round of the 13-team Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) Football begins Wednesday after recess of one day.
Two matches will be held on the day at the Bangabandhu National Stadium (BNS) here with Chattogram Abahani Limited taking on Saif Sporting Club at 4pm while Sheikh Jamal DC Ltd playing against Dhaka Mohammedan SC at 7pm.
On the following day (Thursday), four matches will be held at three venues across the country.
NoFeL Sporting Club will face Brother Union Limited at 4pm while defending champions Dhaka Abahani Limited will encounter Sheikh Russel KC at 7pm, both at BNS on the day.
Arambagh Krira Sangha will play league leader Bashundhara Kings at Rofiq Uddin Bhuiyan Stadium in Mymensingh at 4pm while Team BJMC will face Muktijoddha Sangsad KC at Shaheed Bulu Stadium in Noakhali at 4pm in Thursday’s other matches.
After the 20th round matches, Bashundhara Kings are dominating the league as the only unbeaten team securing 52 points from 18 matches while defending champions Dhaka Abahani Limited followed them with 48 points from 19 encounters.
Two bottom-placed teams — Brothers Union and Team BJMC — are still in the relegation zone. Brothers Union collected 13 points from 18 matches while Team BJMC earned 8 points from 19 matches.
