The date for submission of the investigation report in the case filed over rape and assistance in rape against former Dhaka University Central Students’ Union (DUCSU) Vice President (VP) Nurul Haque Nur and five others yesterday deferred again to April 4.Magistrate Begum Yeasmin Ara of the CMM Court of Dhaka fixed the new date as Lalbagh Police Station IO could not submit its report on Monday.
Other five accused in the case are: Hassan Al Mamun, Nazmul Hassan Sohag, Md Saiful Islam, Nazmul Huda and Abdullahel Baqi.
On September 20, last year, a student of Dhaka University filed the case with the Lalbagh Police Station against six people including VP Nur in which Hassan Al Mamun was made prime accused.
Nur was named in the case for assisting in rape.
