Police in separate drives arrested 26 persons on various charges from different places of five upazilas in the district during the last 48 hours till this morning.
Police said the arrestees were accused of drug peddling, steeling and different other cases.Police also recovered 134 bottles of contraband phensidyl and other illegal goods from their possessions.The arrested persons were sent to jail hajat, the sources added. -BSS, Joypurhat
