2nd international conference on ICSA at BAU begins 19 Oct

Mymensingh, Oct 17 – A two-day International Conference on Sustainable Agriculture (ICSA) is going to be held at Bangladesh Agricultural University (BAU) on 19th and 20th October in front the theme of ‘Climate Smart Agriculture for Sustainability’.This year Bangladesh Agricultural University and University of Malaysia jointly organizing the conference where scientists from India, Japan, Malaysia, Nepal, China and Nigeria will attain to publish research papers.
The conference will be a forum for discussion among scientists about the latest knowledge and technology of agricultural science and exchange ideas and to work together, said BAU Research System (BAURS) director Prof. Dr. M A M Yahia Khondokar.
A total of 177 research papers and 58 poster presentations will be presented at the conference based on the topic of crop science, climate change, food security, agricultural engineering, fisheries, aquaculture and agricultural economics. BAURES director Yahia Khondokar said, the main purpose of this conference is to discuss for working together in agricultural technology innovation to adapt to climate change. In addition of presenting articles, special meetings will be organized to encourage young researchers to research. – BAU Correspondent
