Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested three alleged arms traders along with a pistol and some ammunitions from Baganchra area in Sharsha upazila of Jessore on Friday night.The arrested were identified as Abdur Rahim,46, son of Johabox of Kota village in Kolaroa upazila of Satkhira district, Ahsan Kabir,35, son of Ajgar Ali of Baganchra village, and Ismail Hossain, 32, son of Islam Gazi of Lautara village of Sharsha upazila.
Shahjahan, DAD of RAB-6 Jessore camp, said on secret information, they conducted a drive in the area at night and arrested the trio.
They also recovered a foreign made pistol, one magazine and four rounds of bullet from their possession.
The arrested were handed over to Sharsha Police Station.
