Police recovered the bodies of three people, including a farmer, from separate places in
Satkhira, Moulvibazar and Madaripur districts on Monday.
In Satkhira, the body of a farmer was recovered from Uthalia Beel (water body) of Tala
upazila on Monday noon.
The deceased was identified as Ajam Ali Sardar, 45, son of Gohor Sardar of the same
village.
The victim’s relative Akbar said Ajam had gone to cut grass in the beel at noon and did
not return since.
Local people spotted the body of Ajam at about 12:00pm and informed police.
Officer-in-charge of Tala Police Station Enamul Haque said police recovered the body
and sent it to hospital morgue for autopsy.
The reason behind the killing could not be known yet.
In Moulvibazar, railway police recovered the body of an unidentified man from rail track
in Dakhkhinbagh area of Shreemangal upazila on the same day.
Officer-in-charge of Shreemangal Police Station M Jahangir Hossain said locals found
the body of the man beside the rail line and informed police.
Later, law enforces recovered the body and sent it to Moulvibazar Sadar Hospital morgue
for autopsy.
In Madaripur, police recovered the body of a cargo driver from the Palardi river on
Monday morning.
Sources said cargo driver Faruk Mollah went missing after he fell into the river as his
cargo hit a bridge of the river in Kalkini upazila on Saturday night.
Police said they recovered the body receiving information from local people.
