Dhaka- Three cases have been filed against the five suspected members of Harkat-ul-Jihad al-Islami (Huji) who were arrested on Thursday from a ‘militant den’ in Chittagong.Golam Rabbani, Deputy Assistant Director (DAD) of Rapid Action Battalion-7 Chittagong, filed the cases against Nazim Uddin, Tajul Islam, Hafez Abu Jar Gifari, Iftisham Ahmed and Nure Alam with Akbar Shah Police Station on Thursday night,UNB news agency reported.Officer-in-charge of the police station Sudip Das said the Rab official filed the cases under the Anti-terrorism Act, Explosive Substances Act and Arms Act.Earlier on Thursday morning, police arrested the five Huji members from a ‘militant den’ in Colonel Haat area of the city.
