Police arrested three alleged drug peddlers along with 39 bottles of Indian Phensidyl from Bhaijora area in Morelganj upazila on Tuesday.The arrested persons were identified as Mizanur Rahman Howlader,32, son of Afsar Uddin of Sadar, Imdadul Haque, 30, son of Abu Taleb of Bhaijora village and Matiar Rahman Mantu, 40, son of Hashmat Ali of Kathaltala village of the upazila.Aslam Uddin, officer-in-charge of Morelganj Police Station, said a team of police, acting on secret information, conducted the drive in the area and halted a motorcycle carrying the trio in the afternoon.Later, police searched the motorcycle and arrested them along with the Phensidyl.
