At least three pedestrians, including a female, were killed and seven others injured as a bus crashed into them near Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport roundabout in the city on Wednesday morning. The deceased could not be identified immediately.Police quoting witnesses said the Abdullahpur-bound bus of ‘Jabale-e-Noor Paribahan’ from Mirpur after losing control got up onto the footpath at the airport intersection and knocked down some pedestrians at about 10:30 am, leaving three of them, including a female, dead on the spot and seven others injured.
The injured were rushed to a nearby hospital. Of them, condition of four was stated to be critical. – UNB
