Narail – Three people, including two siblings, were killed and 30 others injured as nor’wester swept through the district on Saturday night.Sources said Alfaz, 6 and Piari Khanam, a class VIII student– daughter and son of Nabi Uddin of Bagdanga village under Bhadrabila union in Sadar upazila were killed as their house collapsed during the storm.Besides, Bikash Biswas, of Kalimon village of Sadar upazila, was also killed in house collapse when the storm lashed the area.At least 30 people were injured, around 200 houses damaged and hundreds of tress uprooted in different parts of the district.Power supply to different areas was disrupted as a number of electric poles were uprooted during the storm.However, the district administration assured the effected people of providing necessary help.
