Dhaka – Three people were killed as a train hit a microbus in Jailkhanabari area under Bijoypur union of Comilla Sadar Dakkhin (South) upazila on Tuesday noon.The deceased were identified as Abu Taher, 50, of Sahapur of Comilla Sadar, Sohel Mia, 30 and Harunur Rashid Sarwar, 42. All of them were the employees of Sentry Security Services.Nazrul Islam, officer-in-charge of Sadar Dakkhin Police Station, said the accident took place around 12:00 pm when the Sylhet-bound Paharika Express train hit a microbus of Sentry Security Services while it was crossing an unauthorised rail gate, leaving two passengers of the microbus dead on the spot and one injured.The injured died on way to Comilla Medical College and Hospital.The bodies were taken to local police camp, said Swapan Kandari Barua, sub-inspector of Laksham Railway Police.UNB news agency
