3 Regency Hotel executives held on cheating charges

Dhaka –Police arrested two directors and a manager of Dhaka Regency Hotel and Resort from the capital’s Khilkhet area on Tuesday evening following a case filed over cheating, murder attempt and money embezzlement.The arrestees were identified as Moslem Ahmed, 38, director of the business class hotel, Arif Motahar, 44, also director of the same hotel and Kayes Munshi, 31, its manager.
Assistant Sub-inspector Lalon of Khilkhet Police Station said police arrested them after Faisal Ahmed, another director of the hotel, filed a case on Tuesday afternoon accusing the trio of cheating him, attempting to murder him and embezzling his money.
The arrestees will be produced before court today (Wednesday), added the ASI. – UNB
