Three touchstone statues of lord Shree Krishna weighing nine kgs were seized from Amnura market area under Chapainawabganj Sadar upazila on Thursday.Commanding officer (CO) of 9 Battalion of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) Lieutenant Colonnel Monjurul Alam said, acting on secret information, a patrol team of BGB raided the Amnura market area and recovered three statues worth about Taka 20,00,000 in an abandoned condition.
Later, the statues were handed over to the local customs office, he added.
