Dhaka -About 308 families of a village under Sripur upazila in the district have been brought under rural electrification network by Magura Palli Bidyut Samity (MPBS) today.A simple function was also held at Khali Bazar of the upazila this noon.Major General (Retd.) ATM Abdul Wahab MP formally inaugurated the electrification programme at Khalia-Kharichile village as the chief guest while Srikol union parishad chairman SM Mustakim Billah was in the chair. HPBS brought an area of 7 kilometres under rural electrification network spending Taka over 1.29 crore.Manager of MPBS Mofizur Rahman, Executive Engineer of LGED Mirja M Iftekhar Ali, Executive Engineer of MPBS Abdul Hanif, UNO Ahsan Ullah, president of MPBL Mahafuzur Rahman and president of Srikol union Awami League Amir Hossain Mollah addressed the function, among others.agency
