Members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) recovered 3,170 bottles of Indian Phensidyl syrup worth Tk 12.68 lakh from Laxmipur border area in Shibganj upazila early Wednesday.Mankasha BGB Battalion-9 commanding officer Subedar Shamsul Haque said on a tip-off, a patrol team of the border force conducted a drive in the area at about 1:00 am.Sensing presence of the BGB men, the smugglers fled the scene leaving behind two sacks.Later, they recovered 3,170 bottles of Phensidyl syrup from the sacks. -UNB, Chapainawabganj
