Nasim, 21, a Premier University student, was killed and two other students– Imtiaz and Rony Chandra Sheel– were injured in a clash between two factions of BCL at the university on Tuesday.
OC Aziz Ahmed said a rehearsal for the freshers’ reception of the BBA 31st batch was underway on the Dampara campus of the university.

At one stage, the scuffle turned into a clash when both the groups attacked each other, leaving Nasim dead on the spot and Imtiaz and Rony injured.
The injured were taken to Chittagong Medical College Hospital.
Later, a group of BCL activists went on the rampage and vandalised around 50 vehicles in several points of the city, including GEC intersection, New Market, Prabartak intersection and Bahaddarhat, protesting the killing of Nasim.
