38th Inter-College Athletics Competition has begun at Rajshahi University (RU).University VC Professor Muhammad Mizanuddin inaugurated this contest by releasing balloon, festoon and pigeon at the university stadium at 8.00am on Monday.
President of Athletics and Aquatics Sub-Committee, Dean of Social Science Faculty Professor Nilufar Sultana presided over the event while Pro-VC Chowdhury Sarwar Jahan was as Special Guest.
Student advisor Sadequl Arefin Matin, Proctor Professor Md. Tariqul Hasan, Administrator for public Relation Office Professor Md. Elias Hossain , Account Director Ashraful Huda, Provost of Different Halls, Members of Athletics and Aquatics Sub-Committee, and Directors and officials of Physical Education department were present there.
A total of 260 competitors will participate in 41 events in this 2 day long Competition.
