4 grenades, 117 bullets recovered in Munshiganj

Dhaka – Four hand grenades and 117 rounds of bullet, presumably dating back to the country’s Liberation War, were recovered during soil digging work by labourers in Keutchura area of Sadar upazila on Saturday afternoon, Unb news agency reported.Mohammad Shamsuzzaman Babu, additional superintendent of police, Munshiganj, said construction workers spotted the grenades and bullets while they were digging soil for constructing a mosque in
Keutchura in the afternoon.
On information, police recovered the grenades and bullets.
The grenades and bullets might have been kept during the war in 1971, added the ASP.
