Members of Chittagong Metropolitan Police arrested four Myanmar nationals from Chittagong Shah Amanat Bridge area at 11 am today.
Acting on tip off, a team of Bakalia thana police raided a city-bound passenger bus in the area and arrested the four persons.
The Myanmar nationals are Hefzur Rahman, 23, Mohammad Shahed Hossain, 25, Mohammad Rafiq, 29, and Anwar Hossain, 22, all hailed from Mongdu Province of Myanmar.
The arrested persons confessed that they entered Bangladesh illegally to get admission into a Madrasa in Hathazari upazila here.
