On Wednesday noon police arrested four outlaws with arms from Tetultala bazaar in Jhenidah sadar upazila.The arrestees are Kamrul Islam, 25 Jasim Uddin 43, Rashedul Islam 33 and Mohammad Hiron 28. They are accused in different cases under different police stations.
ASP Hasanuzzaman of Jhenidah said, on Wednesday noon at around 1-30 pm on secret information they launched a drive by the side of Tetultala bazaar under sadar upazila where the outlaws were holding a meeting.
At the time police have arrested four outlaws and recovered a rifle (kata rifle) and six round bullets from their possession. The rest managed to flee. The arrestees are the members of Gono Mukti Fauj, they confessed. A case has been filed with sadar police station.
