Dhaka – Four construction workers sustained burn injuries in an explosion in the compressor room of a spinning and knitting mill in Kaliakoir Upazila in Gazipur on Thursday.
The injured were identified as Ripon Hossain, Gulzar Miah, Shahed Miah and Jahirul Islam. Local Fire Service sources said a group of workers was working by the compressor room of Apex Spinning and Knitting Mills Ltd at Purba Chandra around 10 am when the explosion took place. The injured were sent to Dhaka Medical College Hospital in the capital.UNB
