5 ppl injured in crude bomd blast inside ‘ Isha Khan’ in Chittagong

Five to six people were injured as two crude bombs were exploded inside a mosque at ‘ Isha Khan’ Naval Base in the port city Chittagong after Jumma’ prayers on Friday.An Inter-Service Public Relation (ISPR) release in the evening said 5-6 people were injured when two cocktails were exploded inside the mosque after the Jumma’ prayers.

The injured were given first aid, the ISPR release said.

It said devotees from outside the base also go to the mosque for prayers.

Meanwhile, a man was detained just after the incident along with several unexploded explosives.

Interrogations about as well as investigation into the incident are on, the release added.
