About 135 families of five villages under Niamatpur upazila in the district have been brought under rural electrification network by Naogaon Palli Bidyut Samity (NPBS) on Wednesday.A function was also held on the premises of Rasulpur Union Parishad under the upazila.Local lawmaker and also general secretary of Zila Awami League Sadhon Chandra Majumdar formally inaugurated the electrification programme as the chief guest with Abdur Razzak, president of Rasulpur union Awami league, in the chair.Niamatpur upazila chairman Enamul Haque, officer-in-charge Obaidul Haque and deputy manager of NPBS, Niamatpur zone, Nazrul Islam Sarker addressed the function, among others.BSS, Naogaon
