At least 50 people were injured in a clash between two groups of occupy Bikka Beel on Kalapur Union area in Srimangal Upazila at the Moulvibazar district on Saturday 8pm.
Source said, the clash ensued when the group, led by Fajar Ali groups attacked to Hazi Monir Miah groups in Hazipur villager, while the latter were trying to organise attacking them in Hazipur Bazar area, said police. At one stage of altercation, they attacked each others, 50 persons injured from both the groups.There clash two hour on the spot, said Sources.The injured were immediately they were sent to Srimangal Health Complex. Serious injured reffered Moulvibazar Sadar Hospital.There was a long standing feud between Fajar Ali groups attacked to Hazi Monir Miah group’s to occupy Bikka beel and establish supremacy in this area, said the Abdul Jalil, Office-in-charge, Srimangal Police Station.On information, police rushed to the spot and brought the situation under control.Kulaura (Moulvibazar) Correspondent
