Police arrested a young man in possession of 50,000 pieces of Yaba tablet from SK Khal area of the Naf River in Teknaf upazila on Friday night.The arrestee was identified as Rahmat Ullah,40, son of Kala Miah, a resident of the area.Officer-in-charge of Teknaf Police Station Ataur Rahman Khandakar said on secret information, a team of police conducted a drive in the area and arrested Rahmat at about 11:30 pm.
Later they recovered 50,000 pieces of Yaba tablet from his possession.A case was filed in this connection. -UNB, Cox’s Bazar
